Our Story

Thomas Province was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. As one of five children, Tom was raised in a very family-oriented household and taught a strong work ethic. At the age of 16, his older sister, Ann-Marie, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She struggled with very limited mobility for much of her life and was ultimately wheelchair bound in a nursing home by the age of 45.

As Tom watched her struggle to maintain her independence, he gained immense empathy for those individuals that are not able to move around by themselves anymore. He saw a need for accessible transportation for these individuals and so ProMotion Transportation was born.

After making Orlando, FL his home, Tom founded ProMotion Transportation in 1996. His goal was to provide reliable, safe and courteous transportation to individuals - both young and old - that required assistance getting from their homes to doctors appointments, hospital visits, social outings and family gatherings.

Our slogan, “we treat your family like our family” rings true. We treat every passenger with the utmost respect and dignity - always. Every person we transport will feel completely at ease in our care.
